What "Verified" Actually Means
We don't just list anyone. Every supplier on Select2Connect goes through a structured vetting process before they can accept bookings. Suppliers who fail to meet our standards are suspended or removed.
Identity & Business Checks
Every supplier must provide proof of business registration, a valid trading address, and personal identification before they can list on the platform.
Insurance Verification
We verify public liability insurance for all suppliers. Where required by law (e.g. waste carrier licences for skip hire), we check those too.
Ongoing Monitoring
Supplier performance is tracked after every booking. Consistently low ratings, unresolved complaints, or breaches of our standards lead to suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
Complaints Process
If something goes wrong, you can raise a complaint directly through the platform. We investigate and take action — including refunds where appropriate.
Verified Badge
Only suppliers who pass all checks receive the Verified badge. It's not automatic — it's earned and can be revoked.
Fair Pricing
Suppliers set their own prices, but we display them transparently so you can compare like-for-like. No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch.

What Happens If Something Goes Wrong?
We've built protections into every step of the process so you can book with confidence.
Secure Payments
All payments are processed through Stripe. Your card details are never stored on our servers. You pay online, and the supplier is paid after the job is done.
Cancellation & Refunds
Cancel before the service window and receive a full refund. If a supplier fails to deliver, we'll refund you or help rebook with another verified supplier — no arguments.
Dispute Resolution
Raise a dispute through your dashboard. We review the evidence from both sides and make a fair decision, typically within 48 hours.
Payout Hold Period
Supplier payments are held for a short period after job completion. This gives you time to confirm the work was done properly before funds are released.
Practical Help When You Need It
If a booking goes wrong — a no-show, poor quality work, or a missed time slot — contact us and we'll help resolve it. That could mean a refund, a rebooking with another supplier, or mediation between you and the supplier.
